Writers on Writers: Sandi Sonnenfeld reads from This Is How I Speak and leads book discussion on Joan Didion’s Democracy, one of the top 10 books that have influenced Sandi’s work.



Sandi Sonnenfeld is available for readings and book signings. She also leads writing workshops on the memoir and creative nonfiction, and is particular adept at working with teenage girls looking to develop compelling stories drawn from real experiences.

Sandi has taught creative writing at Mount Holyoke College, Pierce College and through the Center for Talented Youth, Johns Hopkins University and Gotham Writers Workshop.
